Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse celebrates Apple Day with an open house on Sunday, September 29th, 2013,

You’re invited . . . The apple harvest is upon us and we are celebrating with ‘Apple Day,’ and an open house on Sunday, September 29th.  Join us at Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse for this family event and experience the beauty of our orchard and the apples at harvest time. With free entry, guests are invited to explore the orchard and learn about cider making, with guided tours on the hour, hosted by owner Kristen Jordan. We’ll have lots of fun family activities: A Scavenger Hunt, Apple Bobbing, Apple Decorating, an Apple Pie Contest & more!

Complimentary glasses of sparkling cider will be offered on arrival, as well as glasses of non-alcoholic sparkling apple juice and our catering partners Truffles Catering and Food For Thought Catering will be providing apple inspired food items paired with Sea Cider’s line-up of award winning ciders. Tickets for food items and additional cider samples can be purchased at the event.  We are excited to provide an opportunity to taste our newest cider release at the event – A Canadian first: Hopped Cider!

The Sweet Lowdown will be in the house! Winners of the 2013 “Island Roots Album of the Year” (Vancouver Island Music Awards), Blending original songwriting and three-part harmonies with an old-time instrumental groove, this award-winning acoustic roots trio from Victoria, B.C. creates a unique yet timeless sound that takes listeners on a pleasurable and memorable journey. Sea Cider offers an intimate venue and the perfect backdrop to sit back and be entertained.
