Hot Buttered Rumrunner
Brr, it’s getting cold outside! Why not warm your heart and soul with one of our favourite cozy cider cocktails – Hot Buttered Rumrunner!
The recipe is as follows:
• 750 ml (one bottle) Rumrunner/Prohibition
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1/4 cup mulling spices
• 3 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Heat cider on low heat until cider is hot but not boiling, add spices, stir and allow to steep for at least 30 minutes (best if allowed to steep for several hours). Add butter, stir to melt, serve in mugs. Makes four servings.
Mull it over! Then, stop by the ciderhouse to grab some Rumrunner and mulling spices.
