Sea Cider is to Host Summerdine 2018 in support of Les Dames d’Escoffier

Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse is thrilled to, once again, host the 6th annual Les Dames d’Escoffier Summerdine 2018 long table dinner, Wednesday, August 15 th –Celebrating Women in the Culinary Arts. The BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International is hosting its annual Summerdine, a province-wide dinner held in Victoria, Vancouver and the Okanagan. The event features locally-crafted cuisine, wine, and cider, and unfolds all on one night at unique locations simultaneously across BC.

The goal of this evening is to celebrate women in the culinary arts and raise funds to improve women’s opportunities within the industry. Last year, this event generated over $18,000 in ticket sales to support the Les Dames Scholarship Program.

The Victoria portion of this event is an alfresco long table dinner set at Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse and will feature a specially-crafted menu designed by Dame Chef Ali Ryan, from Spinnakers Gastro Pub. Diners will be treated to a four-course dinner in this unique farm setting overlooking the lush Sea Cider orchard with ocean views of the picturesque Haro Straight. The dinner will be accompanied by fine wines from Vancouver Island winery, See Ya Later Rach, and of course, artisan ciders that are produced on-site.

All funds raised from Summerdine go to support Les Dames d’Escoffier BC Chapter’s Scholarship and Outreach programs. Tickets are selling at $100 per head and can be purchased on the Les Dames website along with some fabulous sponsorship opportunities.
