Announcing Big Wins at Dan Berger’s International Wine Competition
We’re excited to report that Sea Cider has received gold and silver medals at Dan Berger’s International Wine Competition for both ciders that we entered!
After 34 years of conducting one of the nation’s most respected wine competitions, wine columnist/ journalist Dan Berger updated the event and included cider categories in the 2016 competition. This expanded international cider competition features five recognized cider experts, and 12 carefully drawn categories that cideries may use for entering their products.
Sea Cider was thrilled to be offered the chance to compete in the 2016 competition and we were even more excited to learn that we took home one medal each for both ciders that we entered.
Bittersweet received one of the seven gold medals awarded in the contest while Wild English received a silver medal!
This news comes hot on the heels of Bittersweet winning Gold at GLINTCAP and the People’s Choice Awards at Taste BC! It’s official – Bittersweet is a crowd (and judge) pleaser!!!
