Honouring Earth Day
Earth Day was first held 50 years ago, on April 22, 1970, and since then has grown into a global day of celebration and call to action for the environment. This year’s theme for Earth Day is climate action. Conserving forests, wetlands, grasslands and marine ecosystems is one of the most important actions we can take to mitigate climate change and build resiliency in our local communities, so Sea Cider and Toque Catering are pleased to be donating all proceeds from this event to Nature Conservancy of Canada / Conservation de la nature Canada.
*Toque Catering has twice won national awards for the creativity, food design and unique menu of Farmed & Foraged at the Canadian Event Industry Awards, in 2017 and 2019 (category: Best Overall Catered Event).
