2016 Nourish Ride in support of Mical Dyck
November 29, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 9:00 pm UTC+0
A Sea Cider short flight will be paired with the first course meal at the dinner at Norish!
Here’s all the details:
For the 2015/2016 cyclocross season local cyclist and current Canadian National Cyclocross Champion, Mical Dyck has partnered with the locally owned, operated and loved Nourish Café and Kitchen. Nourish is a huge supporter of the cycling community in the greater Victoria area, and of eating locally and living sustainably.
Join us Sunday, November 29 for a wonder fun 100 km road ride (60 km option available) followed by the most amazing local supper at Nourish in the Harbour. The ride will start 10 am from the Nourish in the Harbour location, meeting halfway at the Nourish in the Garden for a coffee and quick snacks to purchase and finishing back at the Harbour. Route to be posted soon.
There is plenty of time to go home for a warm up and shower before supper starting at 5:30 pm at Nourish in the Harbour. Also supporting the event is everyones favorite local orchard and ciderhouse, Sea Cider.
There will be a support van at 25 km intervals for water fill ups and minor mechanic aid. This is a fun ride and will not be timed, so ride at your own pace and enjoy the route. The roads will not be closed during this ride, so please be award of the people and traffic around you and obey all rules of the road.
This is a great way to enjoy a fun partially supported ride in Victoria, followed by an amazing dinner. Proceeds go to supporting Mical in her drive to represent Canada at the cyclocross World Championships in Zolder, Belgium in January.
