Full Service
Sea Cider is a full service venue, and our staff will assist with every detail. Our Event Team will guide you through the planning process on everything from officiants to decor. We will liaise with the florist, the musicians, the caterer, the officiant, and others to ensure all aspects of your event are well coordinated. And on the day of your event, our staff will take care of everything from set up to clean up, providing you with peace of mind so you and your guests can enjoy your special day.
Effortless Style
The Ciderhouse is a stylish mix of west coast casual and agri-chic. The Ciderhouse interior is a fabulous setting for a ceremony or reception with its soaring ceilings, wrought iron chandeliers, and ocean views. Character and beauty abound, without the need to spend time and money on excessive decorating.
Flexible Numbers
Whether you are planning to invite a few dozen guests or more than 100, Sea Cider offers flexibility. Year round, the Ciderhouse can accommodate up to 64 people for a seated dinner or up to 100 for a stand-up reception. During spring, summer and fall, our heated tent allows for up to 120 people for a seated dinner or up to 160 people for a cocktail style reception. Planning an intimate rehearsal dinner? Ask about our Mezzanine, which overlooks the Tasting Room and can seat up to 20 guests.

Sea Cider partners with two of Victoria’s best catering companies, Truffles Catering and Ambrosia Catering. As two of the most respected caterers on Vancouver Island, their service is exceptional, their food is fabulous, and their attention to detail is unparalleled. Both offer an array of menu ideas that fit a range of budgets, always with the highest regard for quality and client satisfaction.
A Bevy of (well priced!) Beverages
In addition to our award-winning cider, event clients have the option of serving wine, beer and artisan non-alcoholic beverages at Sea Cider. Our Event Designer can advise you on the best pairing choices with your menu selection. Corkage fees are minimal and you will receive preferred pricing on our ciders. You can provide your guests your own selection of BC wine and beer under a Special Occasions Licence. Unlike some venues with limited beverage selection and high mark-ups, we offer flexibility and savings.
On-site Photography
No need to find a separate venue for photographs. Event clients have the option of staging photo shoots before or during the event. Our four acres of forest, three acres of orchard and panoramic ocean views provide creative site options.
Audio Visual Options
Sea Cider is pleased to provide a large flat screen for wedding clients to show memorable photos at their event. As well, our in-house audio system is available for iPod streaming as an alternative to live music or a DJ.
Complimentary Rehearsals
Rehearsal time and pre-event meeting space are included without charge.
Plenty of Parking
Parking for up to 80 vehicles is available on-site free of charge, including specially designated space for buses and over-sized vehicles. In the interest of safe driving, vehicles may be left overnight, and we are happy to arrange taxis or a shuttle service to Sidney or Victoria.
Bridal Suite
Sea Cider provides a private room with a separate entrance for the bridal party to arrive discretely and from where an ideal entrance to the ceremony space can commence. Details such as the full length mirror and separate washroom access allow the bridal party both privacy and comfort.
