Sea Cider Proudly Participates in the 2010 Tour of Farms – July 25
Where does my food come from? What’s it like to be a farmer? Who will grow my food in the next millenium? We think that these are important questions that deserve consideration.
The “Tour of Farms” has been organized by the Southern Vancouver Island Direct Farm Marketing Association so that you can get answers to these important questions – and have some summer fun at the same time!
The Tour of Farms is a self-guided tour of participating farrms. A great family summer activity!
Go for a drive in the country. Enjoy the fresh air. Have a picnic. Walk through a blueberry patch. Chat with a farmer. Savour a fresh raspberry. Sample local ciders and wine.

Here at Sea Cider we will have a fantastic selection of our organic ciders available for tasting: complimentary Kings & Spies for you as our “welcome” and $2.00 tastes of Pippins, Rumrunner, Cyser, Pommeau & Wild English. Come Raise a Glass!
We will also have special guests:
Pizzeria Prima Strada will be onsite with their wood fired oven (!) serving their delicious pizza topped with veggies that only had to be walked down the lane.
Mr. Chris Adams will be onsite to discuss organic farming & heritage apples.
Devon McCagherty from The Stomp Club will be playing & entertaining from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Plenty Epicurian Pantry will be bringing a “pop-up” bookstore and delicious pantry items to tempt both the reader & cook.
Share Organics will be onsite offering solutions to city-dwellers keen to eat “farm to fork” on a weekly basis all year round.
