Sea Cider Featured in Pacific Yachting Magazine

PY-Sea Cide-Cover

We were thrilled to see an image of Rumrunner and a tidbit of info on Sea Cider grace the pages of the latest issue of Pacific Yachting Magazine. Featured in the artical, “The Artisan Galley”, Sea Cider makes the list as one of the 10 best sustainably-made products produced near the Salish Sea.

The article features some delicious, locally-made creations and advises those travelling by boat, how to obtain them by sea. We particularly enjoyed the authors take on picking up a bottle of Sea Cider on Galiano Island:

Moor in Montague Harbour off Galiano Island, then catch a ride on a retired school bus to the whimsical Hummingbird Pub. Before returning to your boat, stroll over to the Corner Store and pick up a bottle of Sea Cider to enjoy in the cockpit as the sun dips below the horizon.

Sounds pretty nice! We will be sure to take that advice the next time we find ourselves moored off Montague Harbour.

The article is written by Alison Malone Eathorne, Co-author of one of our favourite cookbooks and go-to hostess gift; Sea Salt: Recipes form a West Coast Galley. Be sure to check out her blog – it’s full interesting culinary stories and tasty recipes.

Grab a copy of the cookbook online or in our tasting room.

Thanks for the support, Alison!
