On the Farm: Growing Ruby Red Rhubarb for Ruby Rose

Getting excited for Ruby Rose? The Rhubarb is starting to grow!

This morning we swung by Omnivore Acres in Central Saanich to check on this seasons crop of rhubarb. This particular varietal is called Ruby Red and has served as the namesake for one of our most popular seasonal ciders – Ruby Rose! We’ll infuse rhubarb and rose hips in cider eau de vie to create our favourite blushing seasonal – coming in June!
